Display Problem in my "Add or Remove Programs" list

Jim

As I scroll through my "Add or Remove Programs" list, everything appears
normal until I get to a certain point half way down the list.

Suddenly, a series of vertical bars appear in the window, nothing else. As I
continue to scroll down to the bottom of the window, the bars suddenly
disappear and everything appears normal. Never seen anything like this,
what's going on, how can I fix it?

TIA

Do you have AutoCad installed? If that's the case, see this thread for a
solution.

If not, then download the script below and run it. Post the results here.
This script lists all the negative icon references present in the registry,
and creates a log file for troubleshooting.
