Cant vie

Can't view all kind of url in my browser. For example
can't see www.microsoft.com (cant see any pages beginning
with www.microsoft).
Have tried to reinstall Internet explorer but always get
the answer "Newer version is installed and can't be
replaced". I'm also trying to remove installed version of
internet explorer but can't find an icon for uninstalling
internet explorer.
I'm using windows 2003 server and IE 6.

There isn't an uninstall for IE6 and if you try you will most probably do more harm than good as it is part of windows system. Have you got the latest SP1 update for IE6, if not go to their website and download it. Yoa can disable I/E by going to control Panel ADD/Remove in the window on the side "Add/remove windows components" and take the tick out of I/E

Check your HOSTS file for redirect entries. HOSTS (no extension) may be a
hidden file. Make sure that Windows Explorer is showing all files. More on
the HOSTS file at http://www.accs-net.com/hosts/
