can't use outlook calender after joining new workgroup?

Hi, we are computer technicians and we just networked 2 computers together
meaning that we changed the workgroup also to a new one. Now, the existing
computer that was using outlook calender no longer allows our customer to use
the outlook calender. My question is that if you change the workgroup of an
existing computer using Microsoft Outlook Calender and then put this cmputer
into a new workgroup, will this affect Outlook Calender so that you can't use
it anylonger. If so, is there a solution, or MUST I tell them to reinstall
Outlook again.
Please help, thank you. Both computers work perfectly fine except that the
outlook calender that was installed onto this one computer and used with no
problems (calender)Now, no longer works that we have changed the workgroup to
be networked with an added computer. thanks in advance.

Sorry - too little information, despite your detail.

Is this in a domain environment? What version of Outlook? Are the versions
mixed? If yes, what are the mixed versions?

And the big one, define "Can't use the Outlook calendar" - define what
happens when you try. And what feature are you trying to use that doesn't
work?

Sorry-No we did not setup a domain, just a workgroup. The computer has
Windows XP and is using Outlook 2003. It is the "CALENDAR" that is not
working. By not working I mean, When our customer opens the Calender she
can see all her scheduled information on her calender, but she cannot add
anything to it, nor can she edit it. The only thing that has changed as I
said before was that we changed the "workgroup" on this computer so that it
could be seen by another computer that we just added to create a network.
All the sudden, she can't add or edit her Outlook Calendar. She can view it,
just not edit it. Does Microsoft Outlook Calendar care whether it is part of
a workgroup--if so--how can she regain use of her calendar (being able to add
and edit the calendar). Right now she can just view it. I do see that
someone else in this forum is having the same problem but there has not been
a response to it yet. Please help! thank you
