Hi
Can anyone help me with this problem, For some reason my ipod nanos aint
working anymore The software has been installed correctly and has been
updated (prompted by computer since installation). However for the last few
weeks neither pod was being recognised by the i-tunes software although at
first there was no problem. I went into the help info in i-tunes and have
worked through it as best as I can for a computer illiterate person! I have
came to a standstill with it because one of the reported errors requires me
to "update or reinstall your Windows USB drivers". I have managed to find
said drivers within the "C" drive but as I said before am not very literate
as far as computers go and am not very sure how to go about updating or
reinstalling these drivers. This may not even be the problem but I wanted
to exhaust every other possibility before I have to send the pods back to
Apple. I do think the problem lies somewhere in the computer as it is
affecting both pods but they are now useless as we cant even use the info
that is on them as they are displaying messages that they need restored and
when I ask the computer to do this it tells me about the error which
requires a) Update iTunes to the latest version and attempt to restore
your pod - I have done this. b)remove any 3rd party USB devices you have
connected to your computer (not necessary to remove mouse or keyboard) - I
have done this. c) update or reinstall your Windows USB drivers - the
stage I am at but not sure how to do!
Any suggestions you could make would be greatly appreciated
