Can't use my DVD burner on User accout

I hope someone can help, I recently did a fresh install of winxp pro sp2,
and I'm new to XP. Besides my administrator account, I created a user
account for everyday use. The problem is I can't access my DVD or CD burning
software from the User account, my burning programs can't find my DVD-ROM or
my DVD-RW! Is this built in to xp and is there anyway around it? I would
like to let other family members use the drives, without giving them
administrator privilages. Thanks for any help.

Without more information it would be difficult to provide good
help. If you are using Nero software, try the Nero BurnRights
utility http://www.nero.com/nero6/eng/Nero_BurnRights.html. Otherwise,
see if the software vendor has a similar utility.

Hope that helps!
