When I click on Start/Help and Support You can select the option of sending feedback to Microsoft. When I click on this it says
"Internet Connection is required". I have an ADSL connection and Explorer seems to work OK for everything else.

Any ideas?

Could it be your firewall permissions are set too stringently with respect
to your outbound communications?

Thanks for the suggestion

I don't have a firewall. I have a router. In anycase, this was doing the same when I had a dial up. I tested it just in case.

There's an article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base that may help with this.

Hi Pete

Thanks for that pointer. Unfortunately this only relates to someone having some sort of dialup networking. I am connecting via my
LAN and an ADSL router so it doesn't apply to me.

It's annoying as I can't contact Microsoft to log a problem, neither can I see my previous problems. I've no idea how to talk to
Microsoft otherwise.
