Can't update

I can't get updates via the internet. It says that the
S/W couldn't find an internet connection. Anybody have
idea of what might be going on??

Ensure that Internet Explorer or Outlook Express is
working online, open IE,from the File menu, ensure
that "Work Offline is not checked.
