Can't update to MSIE 6 SP1

Hello. I'm running Win XP Pro and I'm trying to upgrade my
MSIE 6 to SP1. I've downloaded the ie6setup.exe file from
Microsoft. However, whenever I run it it'll only install
SP1 partially and then I always get the following error
message: "The software you are installing has not passed
Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with
Windows XP. This software will not be installed. Contact
your system administrator." No matter what I try, it won't
install fully. It's very frustrating. Does anyone smarter
than me have some tips on how to get SP1 installed? Thanks
for any help. Cheers.

IE Help>About> what version shows here (e.g., 6.00.2800.1106)?

Have you tried doing this via Windows Update (anti-virus application
disabled, please)? Speaking of which...

When installing an update you receive the following message:
"Software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing"
