can't uninstall itunes - windows installer cleanup didn't work

I'm trying to reinstall itunes but I keep
getting "Error: -1605 This action is only valid for
products that are currently installed." The problem is I
can't uninstall my old itunes which isn't working after I
had to reinstall windows xp. I've been told that this is
a windows installer issue, but I downloaded windows
installer cleanup and itunes doesn't come up in the box
of programs to remove. It doesn't work under Add/Remove
programs either. What do I do now? Please Help!

Simply delete the iTunes folder.
