Can't uninstall a program

I screwed up the installation of Ahead Nero 7, and the uninstallation as
well. Nero is not shown in the directory when I go into Windows Explore, but
the program is shown in Control Panel: Add/Remove Programs. When I press
Remove, I get the following message:

"The currently installed version of Nero 7 is incompatible with this
installer. It must be uninstalled using the control panel before
reinstalling the current version."

I just want to unstall this thing, and then start with clean install. How
can I get rid of this thing?

You might want to contact Nero tech support for help with that. Also
see Kelly's site: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm. Click on
"A" and scroll to Add and Remove -Removing Invalid Entries in the
Add/Remove Programs Tool".

Thanks Brian. I downloaded the Nero Clean Tool and it did the job. I will
try tomorrow to (carefully) reinstall Nero.
