can't take ownership with Windows XP Home

Hi,

I reinstalled windows XP HOME in the same directory as the first
installation, but without formatting the disc or deleting any other
directories. In the first installation, i had a account 'administrator' with
full rights and it's own directory 'my document'. The disc is NTFS formatted

In the new installation, i also defined an account as 'administrator' with
full right. In the 'document and settings' i can see those two directories:
administrator (the old) and administrator.newnameofmypc.

My problem is that i can't access the directory
'administrator' even when logged as (the new)administrator.
When right clicking the directory and clicking properties, i only see
'General', 'share and security' and 'custom'. I can't take ownership of the
directory anywhere.

Any idea how to do that?
Thanks
bob

HOW TO: Take Ownership of a File or Folder in Windows XP

NOTE: You must be logged on to the computer using an account that has
administrative privileges. If you are running Windows XP Home Edition, in order
to have access to the Security tab, you must first start in Safe Mode and log on
with an account that has Administrative rights.
