can't stop auto completion in address bar

I have cleaned my history file as well as offline content,
etc, yet there are a few sites that pop up in the address
bar when I start to type. How do I either turn off
autocompletion in the address bar or remove unwanted site
information? Note that I've run Hijack This, Spybot, and
a few other programs, so I think I'm relatively clean.
Could there be something in the Registry causing this
problem?

Thanks

Go to IE-Tool-Internet Options-Content and click on the AutoComplete button.
Deselect the tick for Web addresses. If you want drop down info from forms
removed as well, the untick the forms box and click on the Clear Forms
button - and Passwords?

On the General tab, click on the Clear history button to wipe things out.

Hope this helps.

Martin
