can't start RealOne player

I downloaded the RealOne player, but it just doesn't
start. I tried to uninstall it, but I cant do that
either, it says an uninstall component is missing. My
husband really likes football and this is the only way he
can get some games. Can anyone help me? Thanks.Gaby
