Can't standby or turn off

I had a problem with a relatively new computer a few months ago. The
manufacturer replaced many of my computer components and since then I have
been unable to either standby or turn off; when I try to do either the
computer turns itself back on immediately. Any ideas of why this is
happening and how to fix it?

The only thing that I can think of is a problem with a device driver. I did
a litte research and got the same results, usually the culprit is a driver.
I would try and update all drivers, especially your video driver. Other than
that, I really cant think of anything. If that does not work I would try and
contact the manufacturer, if you haven't done that already.
