When I try to hit the power button on my system to enter standby mode,
I get the following message:

"The device driver for the "standard 101/102-Key... keyboard" device
is preventing this machine from entering standby. Please close
all applications and try again. If the problem persists you may
need to update this driver. "

Misc. facts:

- This machine used to enter standby mode just fine.
- I have two other nearly identical machines with the same software
image initially loaded that still work fine. However, there have been
some miscellaneous software packages installed on this machine that
are not on the others (nothing that should cause this error, but ???)
- I tried removing the keyboard driver and letting it add back in
again. It did not make any difference although it did not actually ask
me for the CD so it probably used the same physical driver.
- There are no hardware issues shown in the device driver.

Ideas ? Maybe some software has hooked into the keyboard ? How would
I find out if that was true ?

Thanks,
