Hi everyone. I'm having a problem with signing onto this specific site with
my .Net Passport. I run IE7 Beta 2 (the new one) on a cable connection, I
have my Passport associated with my user account on my Windows XP, SP2 and I
have the following installed - Frame .Net 1.1, 1.1 Hotfix and the newest
Frame .Net (2.0 I think) on my home computer (I'm at work now). I cleaned my
computer last night and the only thing I can think of is that I DID delete a
User Account called ".ASP something or other". Could that have screwed things
up. Woud I have to re-install all my Frame .Nets (I already Repaired 2.0 last
night). Please help me with this I believe, .Net Passport may be screwed up
and I have to fix it. Thanks in advance, and please be as detailed as
possible (I'm a novice!) Thanks!

You sign up for a passport and you give an e-mail address and a password.

It has nothing to do with anything on your PC any more than signing up for
Google Groups has anything to do with your PC.

They are just external accounst that you log on to.

If you can't log on to the Microsoft public newsgroups and you deleted files
from IE7, try reinstalling it.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't delete anything from IE 7 re. Passport tho. In
fact, I had this Passport problem with site, so I changed from IE 6 to IE 7
Beta 2 and the problem was still there. Could there a small option somewhere
on my computer that might be blocking it? I had a ran an error-check
overnight on the C: Drive and I'm hoping that might solve it...??? I have no
idea what it could be tho.
