Can't share files with other pcs on network

Hello,

I have a pretty strange problem or at least I think it is. I have a three
comp network (pc1, pc2, pc3) for some reason on pc1 and pc2 I can see pc3,
connect to it, and use, alter and take files however pc3 cannot connect to
either of these comps and when I try to add it in add network places I click
on pc1 or 2 and am not able to click ok. also I cannot see either pc1 from
pc2 and vice versa. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanx

P.S. - pc1 runs 98 and the other two run xp home

The first thing you should look at is the Windows firewall
settings on the two PC's with XP.
Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Windows Firewall.
On the Exceptions page make sure that File and Printer sharing is
checked.

Keep in mind that if you're running any 3rd party firewalls (e.g.
Zone Alarm) then you'll have to enable network access there as
well.
