What is happening here?

You altered a few details and then posted the same message has Becky Wolfe!

Tell us who you really are and what your problem genuinely is.

Your PC clock or Time Zone are not set correctly.

I would like to know if there is aa easy free way to have my Windows Vista
Mail permanently and automatically spell check, keep the settings for the
font type, size and color as well as do a grammar check. The only way I
know to do this now is to write in Microsoft Word and copy and paste it to
my Emails.

It is a hassle. Isn't there an easier way?

Thanks,

Mark

Windows Mail spell checks in only 4 languages.
To use the same font, size & color, create and use stationery.
WM is a basic program, and doesn't check grammar.

The newer Windows Live Mail does a bit more.

Kate, in addition to what the others responded, you need to correct
the time zone setting on your PC. It currently has the Pacific time zone
although you are located in New York (Eastern time zone).
Incorrect time zone settings can cause all sorts of spurious problems.
