On the advanced tab of the account change Port 25 to 587.
Use pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
and smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk

Also on the server tab, select outgoing server requires authentication.

Did you enable POP on your account at the website? http://uk.my.yahoo.com/
Top right corner after you login to your account>Inbox>options>mail
options>enable POP.

http://help.yahoo.com/l/uk/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/pop/pop-08.html

Also remember to select 'leave a copy of messages on the server', in your WM
Account>advanced tab, if you want to access mail in both places at some
time.

Otherwise WM will empty your online inbox.

HTH?

Please make the changes that I suggested, again, and if the account fails,
please copy and paste any new error messages, to your reply.

Mac,

I found the link you gave useful, but when I press "send/receive" it asks
for my username and password, I type it in and press "OK", it repeatedly
asks
for it again and again.
Can you advise on a solution?

Regards
Will

Hi Will,
Go to your account and enter the correct PW/UN combo there, not in the pop
up. tools>accounts>select your account>properties>server tab.

Never click OK in the pop up, always click cancel or WM will wipe out the
setting in your account.
Next:
When you try to check for mail and if the password prompt comes up, click
cancel. This will produce an error message, copy and paste that error to
your reply here please.

You may have to double click the yellow triangle in the bottom right of the
window to see the error message.

The account could be corrupt? Remove it, close WM, open WM and rebuild the
account as per the advised settings.
