cant sent messages

i normally use yahoo
im trying to message someone through graigslist and it said to set up this
account becuse my yahoo wasnt compatible
this is my error

so im thinking i dont know the server, smtp, or pop3 thing or all

Not only are your settings all wrong, but (chances are) your Yahoo
account does not have POP access, so it won't work even with the
correct settings. US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail
access only. There are three workarounds for this problem.

1. Pay Yahoo extra to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:

2. Another option is called YPOPs: http://ypopsemail.com
It is free, but requires some technical knowledge to implement.

3. If you are happy with webmail, you can make it your default email
service, so that Yahoo webmail will pop up when you click on a
Craigslist ad:
