Cant send/receive through lan but can on wireless (help plz)

I have configured outlook 2007 with server settings etc. I am sure these
settings are correct cause they work on other computers on the lan. When I
do these settings on one computer I get send and receive errors. Although,
If I unplug network cable and insert wireless usb connector outlook will
send/receive correctly. Is there some security settings for the
network connection that may be blocking outlook? I have even tried
uninstalling virus protection and turning firewall off to no avail. Someone
plz help ive grown old trying to figure this out...
 
And did you check the acount settings to see what 'connection' they were
using?
 
In case anyone is wondering, I figured it out. There has to be microsoft
firewall client for isa server installed. WOOO HOOOOO!!!
