Running Windows XP Home Edition SP1. For outgoing faxes,
I usually scan documents on my Epson Stylus CX5400 multi-
function printer, then fax them using my computer's
internal 56k Smartlink fax/modem.
For multi-page documents I select the group in Windows
Explorer, right click, and select print. This brings up
the Photo Printing Wizard, and for printer I
select "fax", which starts the Send Fax Wizard. A fax
consisting of multiple discrete pages is sent as a group.
Here's the problem: after installing Office XP Standard,
I can't do this. Selecting the documents in Windows
Explorer, right-click, print, *immediately* prints them
on my local printer without giving the option to select a
fax printer. I removed Office XP and things are back to
normal.
Has anyone seen this? Is it a known problem? How can I
send a multi-page fax after installing Office XP? Any
general advice about better ways to do this?
