Cant send emails on Windows Mail

I have reviewed a lot of the threads here, and I do not see a solution that
seems to have worked. I am have AVG Free anti Virus running, and I am using
the Windows Firewall program.

I was fine on original set up, but last night (November 5th) I could no
longer send email. Receiving is fine, but sending will not work.

The following is the error message I receive when attempting to send emails

The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed) SMTP '. Subject
'', Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP,
Server Response: '550 5.5.0 <[email protected] SMTP > malformed
address: SMTP > may not follow <[email protected] ', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

The error message is rather self-explanatory. The email address to
which you are sending is malformed. Why is there an "SMTP" included
at the end of the address? If you did not type that "SMTP", then something
else did. Uninstall AVG antivirus and try sending again. If it works, then
replace your antivirus with the free Avast:

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
email scanning option turned off. For more on this topic see
