Cant send emails...error message

I did exactly what gmail's instructions said and can get mail but it wont
send any messages. Here is the error message:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Re:
eventplanners-directory.com Contact Form', Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server:
'smtp.gmail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Any help would be great thanks!

Gmail doesn't use port 25. Better check their instructions again:

Thank you so much, I started over with the whole thing and when it asks you
to put 465 on the outgoing mail smtp box and then check the box below...for
some reason it was putting the number 25 back in and replacing the 465 I had
just typed! Thank you very much!!!
