I am not able to send email from our second home. I can receive..just can't
send. I receive the following error:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'Re: (TL)RE: Claim 1410277', Account: 'pop.west.cox.net',
Server: 'smtp.west.cox.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

As soon as I'm back at our other residence, the outgoing emails
automatically send. We have different cable companies ...Cable One at the
weekend place...Cox Communications at the primary residence. Any ideas?

Port 25 SMTP cannot be used at a remote location.
One workaround is to always use the SMTP server belonging
to the provider whose Internet connection you are using at that
moment. Another workaround is to check with both providers and
find out if either one offers SMTP on an alternate port such as 587.
The latter can be used anywhere.
