Can't send email attachment in OE6

As of two days ago, I can no longer send an email with an attachment with a
file size larger than 200kb or so. The program just starts to loop and
attempts to resend every minute.

AFter a few attempts I can go into the 'outbox' folder and delete the email.
However, the recepients are saying that they are receiving multiple copies
of the same email.

I have no problem sending any email without an attachment.

any suggestions?

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.
