Enable the "My server requires authentication" option.

If no improvement, are you sending from home, or from a laptop
away from home? Was Sympatico providing your connection to the

to read the responses?
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced,
change port 25 to port 80.
Then go the Servers tab, and enable the "My server requires
authentication" option. Click OK. Try sending.

'smtpout.secureserver.net' (add "out", no space, and add another "r")
instead of
'smtp. secureserve.net'

and enable authentication
and change the outgoing port to 80
as per
