Bonnie

I have Vista, AVG Antivirus and use Windows Mail. A friend set Mozilla
Firefox as my default internet browser (not sure what else was changed).
Since then, I'm able to receive e-mails but not send them. I can send them
from the ISP server, just not from Windows mail. My e-mail worked fine when
I was using Internet Explorer. This is the error I get when I try to send:

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'test', Account:
'pop.telus.net', Server: 'smtp.telus.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm not very computer literate and
totally frustrated!!! Thanks!

I have the same problem with OE 6. I recuperated the computer from another
person, where OE 6 used to work well. Now it receives mails, but I cannot
open them up. When I try I received an error message, askind me to re-install
OE6. It says that OE 6 is not configured properly. I un install and then
re-install in Microsoft components window. But no change. The only thing I
can think of is that someone installed Incred Mail on the computer and then
un installed it. Is it possible that Incredmail could have changed some
settings?
