I just got a new computer with Windows Vista. I set up Windows Mail, and can
recieve e-mail fine, but when I send I get the following error:
"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'Fw: February 18 Letter', Account: 'mail.comcast.net',
Server: 'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0F"
My ISP is Comcast. I can send/recieve fine from my login on thier site. I
have cross-checked all of the server names and security settings against what
my old computer had for outlook Express, and they are the same, so I'm
stumped. Any help?
