can't send any emails. why

I opened up this mailbox when i got this computer and also added hotmail.
now when i try to send photos, it wont send because there is an error on my
microsoft mail. Please let me know how to fix this.

Windows Mail does not work with Hotmail. If you want to use a
Hotmail account, you will have to upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

Thank you for trying. I do have Windows Live Mail but I am confused about
pop3 and STMP. I try to type in pop3.yahoo.com and that doesn't work. I
also tried stmp.WindowsLiveHotmail.com. That didn't work. I guess I had too
many words in that. Anyway, THank you.

If you want to know the proper settings to be used for a particular
email account, you need to ask the provider of that email service.
They will typically have a web page with directions. For Yahoo, see
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html

Be advised that US residents with free Yahoo accounts do not get
POP access, only webmail access.
