I have Windows mail and Vista just one day. Everything works well except the
mail. I get the following error (in english: cannot make a connection with
server):

Het verbinding maken met de server is mislukt. Account: 'pop3.casema.nl',
Server: 'pop3.casema.nl', Protocol: POP3, Poort: 110, Beveiligd(SSL): Nee,
Socket-fout: 10061, Foutnummer: 0x800CCC0E

Disabling Norton 2009 firewall and completely and/or the Windows Firewall
does not help.

Can some help me?

[I'm pretty sure I told you the same thing back when you were running WinXP
and OE, Menno. Nothing's changed.]

Disable email scanning by your anti-virus application (NAV). It provides no
additional protection, it may be causing the problem, and even Symantec says
it's not necessary:

<QP>
Disabling Email Scanning does not leave you unprotected against viruses that
are distributed as email attachments. Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect scans
incoming files as they are saved to your hard drive, including email and
email attachments. Email Scanning is just another layer on top of this. To
make sure that Auto-Protect is providing the maximum protection, keep
Auto-Protect enabled and run LiveUpdate regularly to ensure that you have
the most recent virus definitions.
