Can't select "Formatted text" in AutoCorrect

Guest

I am trying to set up AutoCorrect to recognize more fractions (1/3, 1/8,
etc.) which, according to the tutorial on the MVP site, you can do with
formatted text, but my Plain/Formatted text radio buttons are greyed out
(disabled). Anyone know why? I *think* I'm an administrator on my machine,
but maybe not...

Thanks!

You must have the text selected.

The fractions you mention are part of the normal character set, so they
won't ordinarily be considered "formatted"; in any case, you don't *want*
them to be considered formatted because presumably you want them inserted in
the same font and at the same size as the surrounding text.
