Can't Select all instances of formatting

Hi,
Using MS Word 2003
I have a document with 150 pages, with tables, equtions, footnotes and some
self-defined styles.
Here is the problem: In some cases ther is a formmatting in (10pt Centered)
"Styles & Formatting" task pane list, on which when I right-clicking and
choosing "Select All <n> instances" ("Select All 3 instances") nothing
happens, nothing is selected. I can not also find text with that formatring
with "Find". I try to delet that formatting, nothing helps!
So, how can I remove this formattinf from the list or find the taext with
that ?formatting?
Thanks!

In order to use the "Select all x instances" command, you have to have "Keep
track of formatting" checked on the Edit tab of Tools | Options.
