Although you don't mention which version of Windows you have, you might try
the following:
1. Clean out the Temporary Internet files:
Safely Delete the Temporary Internet Files

2. Disable your firewall and see if it helps
3. If you have Norton, or any other ad-blocking programs, try disabling them
as well.
4. Tools>Internet Option>Advanced>Under Multimedia>Show pictures

To restore the default file association, go to

Download, unzip and merge the REG file, "JPE/JPG/JPEG Association Fix"
Some image/graphics programs will change file associations.

Right click on the graphic you see and a pop up menu should appear. Select
"Show Picture" option.
Then, go to Internet Options>Advanced Tab
Show Pictures - check option if
unchecked to display pictures all the time.

You can try updating your scripting engine. The latest scripting engine can
