Can't see tables.

First of all, I know NOTHING about Access (MSSQL/Oracle guy). I am writing
an application (.NET) that needs to access data from an existing MSAccess
database (2000). When I try to view the tables, it says there are none. I
opened the mdb file and set it to show hidden tables and now I can see them
in Access, but they are still marked "hidden" so .NET and SQL Server can't.
And, if I open properties on the tables, I see the "hidden" checkbox is
checked, but I can't un-check it. So, what do I do???

Welcome to the Access fold... you're gonna love it.

Maybe the .mdb is marked as Read Only? Check the properties in Windows
Explorer.

That would have been wonderful, but nope. And NTFS permissions are ok too.

Any more ideas?
