can't see other workgroup computers in select locations

Hi,
I'm using a workgroup network and I'm trying to share
folders amongst some users of this network and disable
access to others.
My problewm is that when I try to add a user when sharing
permissions, the only location displayed is the computer
at which I am sitting. How can I display the other
computers of my workgroup so that I can set the
permission for these users,

What you are experiencing is how it is when not in a domain.
In a workgroup a machine only has accounts that are defined
on itself available to it.
If you want to control access to things shared from a workgroup
machine, you must define an account that is allowed the access
and provide that account info to those who should have access.
