A laptop with XPPro SP2 OS can't see any other computers in the same
workgroup, so I can't access any shared folders and shared printer.

Well, not a lot of detail there.

One of the most common causes of this problem, based upon experience here, would
be a misconfigured or overlooked personal firewall. There are other
possibilities too. Read this article with an open mind.

If no help yet, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from the problem
computer, and from 2 properly working computers, so we can diagnose the problem.
Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely:

Make sure that Client for Microsoft Networks is enabled in the network
connection properties.

Make sure that the Workstation service is running.

Are you trying to see the other computers through My Network Places?
That's often unreliable. Try accessing another computer directly, by
typing the other computer's name in the Start | Run box in this
format:

\\computer
