Please help me. I installed my FrontPage 2000 software about three
years ago and everything worked fine. However, I something happened
with my computer where I had to purge everything from it, so I
reinstalled the software. It installed fine, but when I try to save
my information, i get a pop-up saying

"Server Error-Cannot Open C:\My Documents\My Webs\vti_pvt\service.lck
for writing".

I remember having to reinstall this software about a year and a half
ago due to a computer repair and everything worked fine. I sure hope
I don't have to go and buy a new web page software tool. If anyone
can help I'd sure appreciate it.

Delete that file and fp will remake it ... it should be ok then

And if you backed up your webs from a CD remove all read only attributes from all files/folders in the FP web(s)

Thank you all. It seems to have worked. Luckily I backed up my FP
files and will dump them back in. Again, Thanks!!!
