Can't save - error message

I have used XP movie maker successfully many times, mostly to downsize movie
clips in other formats that are too large for emailing. But suddenly I am
getting an error message when I try to save my movie.
" cannot complete the save movie wizard- windows movie maker cannot save the
movie to the specified location - verify that the original source files used
n your movie are still availbale, that the saving location is still available
and there is enough free disk space available, and then try again"
I have tested with several files from different locations, different file
names, all short, and different destination folders, but none work. I have
plenty space on my hard disk too. Thanks

Thanks PapaJohn, but no, this is not the cause of the problem, I am just
using file types that have always worked with MM before - in fact I have
tried importing clips that I have previously processed, but still when I try
to save, I get the error message
