I have installed ms office 2007.
When I tried it, it was fine.
But today when I use it again, it has gone loco.
When I type anything at ms word, what I type doesn't show up.
It always says "This modification is not allowed because the selection is
locked."
and also with the other ms office programs.
When I try reinstalling it, it says "Setup cannot continue because a
required file is corrupted or not available. Run setup again from the
original source disc or download location."

Before when stating windows installer shows up and saying windows is
configuring microsoft office 2007, but it now it ain't.

Note:I accidentally deleted its cache.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You need to ask this in an Office 2007 or Word forum. This has nothing to do with
Windows XP.

When you post there, tell them if you are using a Trial version of Office or a
version you bought.
Did you activate online? You may need to try activating again.
