Can't rip my cd

xp 10, node code number.. unknown error msg..the common error message..
won't allow me to rip.. I can play it, but it won't rip so I can put it on a
MP3 player.
Anyone found a way around this one? I already checked..the box is clear on
protected stuff.. etc.

Do some recordings prevent ripping to the computer?

Instead of ripping, try burning.

I think what he means is that he's trying to rip from the CD to the computer
so that he can sync it to his MP3 player. If he can't the music onto the
computer, burning isn't going to help much.
