Music CD-R discs are deigned for stand-alone CD recorders that came out several
years ago. I believe the discs are physically the same as a computer disc, but
the Music one had a royalty fee tacked onto it by the RIAA. The discs should
work on a PC.

Music CD-R discs are, as Galley says, more expensive for the wrong
reasons. You can use any standard CD-R discs to burn music CDs, but you
may as well use up those music CD-R discs now that you've bought them
anyway.

When creating a music CD, tell your HP burning software to create an AUDIO
disc. Have a look for that setting before you begin the burn process.

Regards,
Ian.
