Can't reconnect to network drives

I posted last week but did not get anty feedback. ThoughtI'd try again ---
We have a network at our church which is a simple peer-to-peer hook up with a
central server. All are running XP Home or Pro. I have one machine running
XP Home that will not recconnect to the network if it is restarted fro any
reason. I have to go in and disconnect the drives in My Network Places,
Delete them fro mthe computer, reload the places in the system and then
reassign the mapping on the drives. It only happens on one machine. I have
hooked other machines to its 10/100 cable and they work fine so I am pretty
sure it is not a switch/router issue. Any ideas on how to reset this? The
"Reconnect at logon" box is checked.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply-
The "server" is Running XP Pro. The machine in question is running XP Home.
There are 5 XP Home computers and 1 XP PRo COMputer plus the XP Pro "Server"
in the workgroup. That is for a total of 7 machines.

I believe you were answered in your earlier post last week. Because you
are using the web interface instead of a newsreader, you may have
missed the answers. You are running into the 10-connection limit with
XP Pro and should use a real server operating system.

XP

concurrent connections:

10 for XP Pro/Tablet/MCE
5 for XP Home
49 for SBS 2000
74 for SBS 2003
Unlimited for full Server O/Ses

The problem is - There are not 10 computers connected to XP Pro and only a
total of three machines connected to the XP home machine. Both are under the
limit. Also, If I disconnect some drives from the home machine and from the
"server" I still have the same issue. I'm thinking there may be an issue
with the registry setting for the reconnect at logon command but I do not
know where to begin to check for that.
