Can't receive email

Keep getting the same message which says "receiving message 1 of 53", but
then an error message pops up which says "Account: 'mail.btinternet.com',
server: 'btinternet.com', protocol: Pop3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: Ox800CCC19.

I can send emails.
 
It means there is a 'stuck' email on the server.
Log in via webmail (using your browser), sort the messages there by date,
delete all the older ones you already have downloaded, plus one more.
Try Windows Mail again.
 
You're very welcome.
However, in the future please respond back in the same thread that you
started with ("Can't receive email"), otherwise we have no easy way of
knowing who deserves the thanks.
