can't receive e-mails anymore

hi

i have a real har problem: i can't receive anymore e-mails on my notebook, i
use outlook 2003

if i click on 'Send/receive', i get the following message for every email
account i have
Task 'mailbox.xyz.com' - Receiving' reported error (0x80042108) : 'Outlook
is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) e-mail server. If you continue
to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet
Service Provider (ISP).'

the settings of the accounts are correct, it work on another pc

i hope anyone of you can help me, it's really urgent

Are you sure the POP3 port is configured correctly? It's port 110. Also make
sure that your firewall isn't blocking this port.

that's not the reason

the port is 110 and it isn't blocked
it just started not working 4 hours ago

Try recreating (do not copy) your mailprofile in Control Panel-> Mail->
button Show Profiles-> Add. Make sure you configure it to start Outlook with
the new mail profile.

doesn't work either

how can i copy all mails, to safe them, because i want to reinstall outlook,
maybe then it will works

All data is stored in pst-files. If you search for it make sure you include
hidden and system files/folders.
