Can't print

I have an attendance software that when it prints it
throws it's data on a word document then sends it to the
printer. After this prints I can't print from excel any
longer. If I re-boot I can print excel again. I've re-
installed office, reinstalled the printer, used different
printer drivers etc. There's no problem with office 2000
just 2003. This is a windows xp machine with SP1. Thanks.

Exactly what happens when you try to print from Excel?

It shows the pages going to the printer and then nothing
happens. I look in the printer and there are no
documents waiting to print.

Okay --- Have you tried resetting the default printer after the Attendance
report prints? It sounds like it is setting the printer driver oddly and it is
not being reset. (Your print job is probably being kicked to a temp file
somewhere waiting for the 2nd part of the equation)
