can't ping outside domain

1. With certain DHCP assigned ipaddresses I am unable to
ping outside of the network. I've also notice in one of
the scope I see a list of bad ip addresses. Why is it that
I can ping outside the network with some ipaddresses and
not with others although they're in the same scope?

2. I have 3 scopes in the domain, but one of them isn't
being assigned by DHCP. They all have the same settings
but for some reason I have to manually assigned the
ipaddress from one of the scopes. Could I get some
feedback on this issue?

Gateway address?

How do you expect the scopes to be assigned, or how have you
configured them to be assigned?

Gateway address?

each computer has the correct gateway address, its just
with some ipaddresses I can not ping outside of the
network while others can within the same scope.
How do you expect the scopes to be assigned, or how have you
configured them to be assigned?

Jeff

They're assigned so that DHCP assigns each computer an
ipaddress withing a certain scope.. when one scope runs
out of addresses to be assigned, then it goes into the
next scope.

Hello...
Without know what the scopes are (and default gateway), all we can do is
speculate.
What the 3 scope you have configured? What is the 'Router' option
configure. Are you setting the 'Router' option as a scope option for each
scope, or as a global Server option?
Thanks in advance....
