I've been trying to open windows media player, but a Browser Enhancement
Installation window keeps coming up. All it will let you do is close the
window. I can't figure out how to either install it or just get windows media
player working again.
thanks,

If you have installed Service Pack 2, then I suggest you check your add-ons
to see if temporarily disabling any makes a difference.

In IE6 go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs and click the button Manage
Add-ons.

Then in the combo box select "Add-ons currently loaded in Internet
Explorer." You can now select any 'Enabled' add-on and click the 'Disable'
radio button.

Of course there is always a chance on a browser hijack, but with the
information you have provided it is hard to tell.
