can't open URL Links *HELP*

Hello. Not sure how this happened, but when I click on any
underlined URL in a email (OutLook Express 6) or a link on
any website (in IE6), I get "the file cannot be displayed"
message. I can type in URLs in the address bar and the
websites open fine.. but when trying to opening other
links on the website (or in an email), I get that error
message.. any ideas?
