can't open secure pages

Can't open sites with security, for example i can get to
fidelity homepage, but when I go to log in I get the no
network error page (like when you don't have a
connection). Any ideas how this can be resolved ?

I am having the same exact problem. I am running XP Pro and can't access
any secure pages. This started happening to me a couple of days ago but
hten it would work and then it would stop. I don't get it:-(

I spent over an hour with a Comcast tech yseterday messing with my security
and privacy settings but no go. I tried to access without any firewall and
a direct connect to my cable modem but no go. The tech says that all he can
think of is that it is a Microsoft problem. I thought it was a cop-out until
I saw your post.

Funny thing for me is that this is happening on two different machines on
the same network so I just do see how it can be machine specific.
